Actor Rejects Anti-Vaccine Views After Narrating Disputed Pandemic Film

The acclaimed actor has provided his vocal talents to a feature-length documentary that questions the legitimacy of vaccinations and commends ex- cabinet secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The Feature's Provocative Basis

Named "Plague of Corruption," the project is inspired by a bestselling book co-authored by a controversial scientist, who rose to infamy during the global outbreak for allegations that the illness was a result of a problematic version of the influenza shot.

The publication's writing partner, the executive producer, has penned books with conspiracy-prone figure Alex Jones. Heckenlively recently posted praising Neeson's role in the documentary.

A Strong Statement

A spokesperson for Liam Neeson have issued a statement strongly denying claims that he holds anti-vax beliefs.

"Many acknowledge that misconduct might be present within the medical sector, but that cannot be equated to opposition to vaccines," the comment states. "He is not, and cannot be described as, anti-vax. His long work with the global charity underscores his consistent support for public-health initiatives."

The statement added that the actor was not involved in crafting the documentary's editorial content and that inquiries about its claims are best addressed to the filmmakers.

Key Themes Within the Documentary

According to the documentary, the voiceover spoken by Neeson features several controversial points:

  • It claims that pro-vaccine voices have called for "complete compliance" to government bodies.
  • It declares that "medical science has become dangerously politicized."
  • Kennedy is shown claiming, "The big problem with vaccines is that they just aren't properly vetted."
  • The narration further attacks pandemic restrictions, arguing they caused severe distress that resulted in thousands of lives.
  • Regarding pandemic shots, it cites a perspective that they were "rushed to market" and seen as "dangerous experiments."

Past Controversy and Current Disputes

The film further cites a historical film about AIDS medication trials on children, which was afterwards the subject of a correction by the network for unbalanced reporting.

Last month, the political figure directed the Centers for Disease Control to alter its long-held position that there is no connection between immunizations and autism. This claim is echoed in the film, despite a new report from the global health body confirming no evidence has been found.

An Earlier Statement of Endorsement

Differing from the film's narrative, Neeson has in the past voiced clear advocacy for vaccines in his role as a Unicef global ambassador.

Two years ago, he called vaccines as "a remarkable triumph," adding that "The debate about vaccines in the past few years has overlooked how much good they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest collective achievements in human history."

The documentary finishes with Neeson's voice proclaiming, "This marks not the finish of our narrative. Rather, it is the dawn of a new chapter."
