Plane Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Due to Crack in Cockpit Window
An aircraft transporting Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was required to make an emergency landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was identified in the aircraft's cockpit window, as stated by an official statement which verified that the secretary was unharmed.
"The jet landed based on standard protocol and everyone onboard, including Pete Hegseth, is safe," a spokesperson stated in a online announcement.
The secretary was coming back from a quick journey to the Belgian capital during the flight.
This incident does not mark the initial instance that a American defense plane carrying a senior official has encountered equipment failures.
Earlier this year, a US Air Force plane ferrying Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was forced to turn back to the US capital after experiencing a mechanical fault.
