The former president's Granddaughter Receives Expert Tips from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of Professional Golf First Appearance
The rising star has considerable social media following
Kai Trump can count on numerous well-known cheerleaders when she makes her professional golf debut this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to Donald Trump, obtained a tournament invitation to play at the Annika tournament in Florida.
The former president, a passionate golfer, operates several golf courses and regularly matches against Kai.
"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we play some close matches," she stated.
The golfer shared that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Simply stay calm."
"My grandpa practically suggested to compete and enjoy myself," she added.
"From my perspective, he's just an ordinary family member. He's not attending for the tournament. He's busy with running the country, making him somewhat preoccupied."
Being non-professional, Kai has participated in only three events recently and holds ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.
But she's able to receive tips from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Kai's mother.
"He stands as the greatest golfer globally," the young golfer said.
"Additionally, he's an even better person. He suggested me to play, enjoy myself, adapting to the flow."
The golfer will compete against some of most prominent players in professional golf at the Annika, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
Officials stated that Kai's presence brings golf to different demographics, especially with younger fans.
Kai maintains millions of followers and recently launched her own apparel and wellness company.
She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
