Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Has Passed Away in a Los Angeles Vehicle Accident
The co-creator of Call of Duty, renowned for co-creating the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a car accident in the state of California he was 55 years old.
The tragic news was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio he co-founded.
The renowned game designer passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and burst into flames on a freeway in Los Angeles on Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This is a heartbreaking loss, and our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends, his loved ones, and the countless individuals inspired by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts said.
